Aloo gobi masala
Ingredients
- 1 small cauliflower
- 1 big potato
- olive oil
- 2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 1,5 tsp cumin
- 0,5 tsp paprika
- 1,5 tsp sea salt
- 1 finely chopped tomato
- luke warm water
Story
Cut one small cauliflower into uniform medium size florets. Clean it well and drain the florets. Peal and cut one big potato and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan with 1 tablespoon cumin seeds, 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic and 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger. Sauté for 1 minute and add in 2 teaspoons ground turmeric, 1,5 teaspoon ground cumin, half a teaspoon ground paprika and 1,5 teaspoon salt.
When you stirred in all the spices finely chop 1 tomato and add it to the pan, with a cup of luke warm water.
Put on medium heat and add the cauliflower and the potato. When the potato is cooked trough, the dish is ready. When you want a bit more gravy, just add in a little bit more water. Easy as that!
Serve it with roti or any other Indian bread. Soo good!!
